TERMS OF SERVICE
By signing up for Bums Away Cloth Diaper Service, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
BILLING & SERVICE COMMITMENT
Initial Service
All diaper service packages require an initial prepaid service period based on the plan selected at enrollment:
*Biweekly Service Plan: Initial 2 weeks prepaid
*Monthly Service Plan: Initial 4 weeks prepaid
Payment for the initial service period is due in full before your first delivery. All prepaid service is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Ongoing Service Billing
After the initial prepaid service period, your diaper service will continue on your selected billing cycle unless a cancellation request is submitted.
*Biweekly Service Plan: Billed every 2 weeks
*Monthly Service Plan: Billed once a month
Customers will receive an invoice approximately one week before the start of each upcoming service period. Payment is due prior to the next service cycle to ensure uninterrupted service.
Service Commitment
By enrolling in service, you agree to the minimum service period selected at signup. Because we allocate time, labor, inventory, and scheduling resources to set up each account, all prepaid service periods are non-refundable and non-transferable.
CLOTH DIAPER SERVICE RENTAL
All items provided through Bums Away Cloth Diaper Service, including prefold diapers, snap-in diapers, fitted diapers, covers, pail liners, diaper pails, lids, and related accessories, remain the property of Bums Away LLC and are provided on a rental basis.
These items must be returned upon completion of service.
Complimentary items (such as provided fasteners, if applicable) are yours to keep.
Any items not returned, lost, or damaged beyond normal wear and tear will be billed at full replacement cost and invoiced to the customer.
INITIAL DELIVERY AND STARTING SERVICE
Before your first delivery is scheduled, your initial service payment must be received and your account details completed.
First-time customer setup and processing may take up to two weeks. Your first delivery will typically be scheduled within the week of your expected due date or within approximately two weeks after enrollment is completed.
Special or non-scheduled deliveries may be available upon request and may include an additional delivery fee depending on location and timing.
HOW SERVICE WORKS
Upon enrollment, you will be assigned a regular service day based on your location.
For the first two weeks of service, you will receive a full supply of clean diapers and accessories based on your selected package.
Beginning in week three, your weekly rotation will be adjusted based on the number of soiled items collected during your previous pickup. This ensures you always have a clean, consistent diaper rotation.
If you need additional diapers beyond your standard rotation, please contact us. A small additional fee may apply.
If your baby requires a size change due to growth or fit issues, please contact us as soon as possible. Size changes will take effect in your next scheduled service rotation at no additional charge.
DIAPER USAGE & CARE
Soiled diapers should be placed in the provided wet bag-lined diaper pail.
If your child has begun eating solids, we ask that you dispose of solid waste in the toilet before placing the diaper in the pail.
Diaper covers are reusable unless soiled; they may be wiped clean and reused when appropriate.
Customers must not attempt to launder any Bums Away LLC-owned items. Our products are cleaned using specific commercial processes to ensure proper sanitation and pH balance. Improper laundering or misuse may result in damage fees.
DIAPER DELIVERY DAY
Delivery schedules are subject to change as we optimize routes and service efficiency.
On pickup day, please place your sealed pail liner with soiled diapers at your designated pickup location by 8:00 AM.
If weather conditions are poor, please place your diaper bag inside a covered bin or protective bag and notify us.
Items left in unsafe conditions (sun exposure, pests, or weather damage) may be subject to replacement fees if damaged.
MISSED PICKUPS
If your diaper bag is not available at the time of pickup, the driver will leave a notice. A return pickup may be scheduled upon request and may include an additional service fee.
VACATION HOLD
If you will be away, please contact us at least two weeks in advance to place your account on hold.
IMPROPER USE & DAMAGES
All rental items must be used only for their intended purpose (cloth diapering of human infants).
Improper use includes, but is not limited to:
*Excessive use of diaper creams not compatible with cloth systems
*Use as household cleaning items, rags, or non-diapering purposes
*Exposure to paints, oils, chemicals, or other damaging substances
*Damage caused by pets or non-standard use
Any damaged items will be billed at replacement cost and invoiced to the customer.
Certain creams and medications (including those containing petroleum or high levels of zinc oxide) may cause staining or absorbency issues. Please contact us for cloth-safe product recommendations.
STAIN POLICY
Minor staining is expected with normal diaper use. Our laundering process is designed to thoroughly clean and sanitize all items.
However, damage caused by improper use or care may result in replacement charges.
If stains or damage cannot be removed due to misuse, the item will be invoiced at replacement cost.
LOST OR MISSING ITEMS
Lost, stolen, or unreturned items remain the responsibility of the customer while in their possession.
Replacement costs for missing or damaged items will be invoiced upon account reconciliation or service termination.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates may be redeemed for eligible services or products offered by Bums Away LLC.
Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
CANCELLATION OF SERVICE
To cancel service, please provide at least two (2) weeks’ notice.
Service will continue through the end of the current billing cycle.
All Bums Away LLC-owned items must be returned at the time of cancellation.
Your final pickup will occur on your regular service day. Please ensure all items are placed in the provided pail and liner. Any additional items may be placed in a standard 13-gallon trash bag beside the pail if needed.
All returned items will be inspected. Any missing or damaged items will be invoiced at replacement cost.
Once your account is fully closed and all items are returned, you will receive a final confirmation and itemized statement.
REFUNDS
All prepaid service is non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds, credits, or partial refunds will be issued for unused service time.
PRIVACY
We respect your privacy and protect your personal information, including contact details and billing information, using secure systems and encryption technology. Your information is used solely for account management, service delivery, and customer communication.

Bums Away LLC is not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities. We encourage customers to communicate any known sensitivities so we can help provide appropriate product guidance.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Bums Away LLC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
By enrolling in service, you agree that these Terms and Conditions represent the full agreement between you and Bums Away LLC.
Bums Away LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to personal property loss or injury arising from product use.
